![]() Jason Butler Harner began his acting career on stage in the early ’90s. In the early stages of his career he appeared in Broadway productions of plays including What I Did Last Summer (1990) and Loved Less (1994). He later followed with an appearance in Hydriotaphia (1997), Transit in Venus (1998) and Macbeth (1999). In New York, Jason enrolled at the NYU School of the Arts, where he earned his Masters in Graduate Acting Program in 1997. Years later, the actor also attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he served as a Master Teacher in the Guest Artists program in 2007-08. Soon after graduating from high school, worked briefly as an usher at the Eisenhower Theater. From there he enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received his acting degree in 1992. He then served an apprenticeship at the Actors Theater in Louisville before moving to New York City to continue his studies. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia, graduating in 1988. During this time, the actor was the president of the school’s acting club. He spent most of his time building construction kits rather than acting simply because most of his relatives were plumbers and carpenters. He also took part in several plays organized at the Arena Stage in Washington DC. Jason Thomas Butler Harner was born on Octoin Elmira, New York, United States. Also, don’t feel like you have to free Olivia right away. The only thing that we hope for from both this casting, and really the rest of season 4, is that it does not completely mire itself in the same stuff as every other season. The show is typically pretty good about newcomers on the cast, and can somehow keep that a secret a good bit longer than you would really expect for them to be able to. The show is going to return come Thursday, January 29, and Harner could appear at any point here or after. ![]()
